Smoke on the Horizon

Cithara dragged Simon by the shirt to a strange looking box. It looked like the one in Simon’s nightmare. Simon knocked on the ‘Window’

“Let me out!” he yelled

“Now why would I do that?” Cithara laughed

Simon tried to punch out the ‘Window’. It wouldn’t budge.

he paced back and forth. back and forth. back and forth. he didn’t realise that somthing drastic was going on behind him.

The stove behind him blazed up in a flash of light. Simon smelled the smoke and saw the flames licking their way up the wall

Apparently, Buck and his girlfriend didn’t care if they killed a couple of people, but it was SHOCKING if Cithara stole from their baby.

That did it for Simon.

He pounded the wall, nonstop until the glass shattered everywere. the Fire apparently, didn’t like doing what it was told and in a blaze, everything was up in smoke.

Buck snapped to attention and went to the flames. He started to freak out. This had NEVER happened before.

Night fell over the chaos. Jazz (Bucks Girlfriend) mad e a mad dash for her daughter. but the flamed trapped her too.

As you might know, a fire during the night lets off a glow. A glow attracts attention. That attention was Emily. She ran for the leaping blaze, which was encasing everything with a coffin-like cover of smoke.

Simon watched from afar. He had done this. The chaos was from him. He stood near the Pen

He made a snap desision. He ran for it. Ignoring the ghosts of Bucks victims. Ignoring Guy. He just ran.

The Shadow of death passed over the waterfalls. The Grim reaper was in buissness. Tat meant somebdy had died. Simon hoped that it was Buck, of at least that witch, Cithara. stop! a small voice said inside of his brain the people might not have been innocent, but do you want to be as bad as them?  He wished it would stop.

Simon hesitated. His desision had been rather quick. He would leave behind so much.

“Simon!” a fammiliar voice called from the distance

Simon stood to face…Emily.

“Don’t run away” She begged

Simon grabbed her cold hands

“I’m leaving this whole life Emily.”

“Where will you go?”

“I don’t know, I want to find my Father, from what my mom said, he lives in some place called ‘Riverview’ i’ll try to find that”

“Simon please..”

He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into the Final, goodbye kiss

“I realised something in this single, CRAZY month we’ve been together” Simon whispered into her ear

“What’s that?” Emily whispered back

“I love you”

Silence

Simon broke away

“Remember me” he said and took off running.

Dawn was approaching as Emily watched the slowly dissapearing figure that was Simon

 

Simon didn’t know were to go, he just wanted to find his father.
