The End of the Beginning

Emily starts  aroung the ruins of Buck’s ghost camp. She hears a baby crying and picks up Buck’s child. A bracelet on her wrist tells Emily her name

Kayla.

Suprised as she is that this is so much like the name ‘Kaylee’ she starts to think. Emily doesn’t know anything about being a mom, but the best thing to do is take in her baby cousin. she cant just let her die.

Footsteps are heard from behind her.

“Hello, Emily” Guy says with distaste

“You’re not dead” Emily more states than asks

“I survived the fire, yes, but I’d like to know what you’re doing with little Kayla there.”

“What do you think? I’m taking her with me. Goodbye”

And so she ran.

Emily soon arrives at the cliff overlooking the Sunset Valley hills. A path winds its way sneakily between them

“We’re going to Riverview, aren’t we Kay?” she says, taking a deep breath.

She starts to walk. This is the End of the Beginning, as Emily starts her journey into the wilderness.
