The Delay in Posts

Many of you must have noticed the delay in posts, here’s the story

My last post, the End of the Beginning was not intended to be the last post, but has been for some time. I finished that on September 12th, the last free day I had that week. I forgot to mention that I would be on a school trip and couldn’t post for that week. I went on that school trip, coming back home on Friday, September 19th. The first thing I noticed was that my computer wouldn’t turn on, its power strip had to be used for something else. The guy didn’t come until today, and so I tell you this. OUTTA LUCK IN RIVERVIEW WILL BE HAPPENING. I will reveal some info, new characters and an excerpt now… (scroll down if you want to see, you don’t have to)

Simon was about to give up the search but then a flier caught his attention

Are you hungry?

Are you sick and tired of Frozen fish?

Well, Billy and Freddy Meyer have some fresh catfish, non-frozen caught right outside our door!

underneath that was contact information for the Freddy and Billy Meyer people, underneath THAT was a picture.

what the heck, Simon thought, maybe this guy knows my father.

Simon takes the flier. He walks down the street to his car and gets in, driving to the address that the flier says. It is a small, classic country house. He double-checks the address, making sure it is the right place and gets out. He climbs up the steps and knocks on the door.

A buff, surfer-looking guy around Simon’s age gets out

“Hello” he says

“Hi, I’m Simon. I’m here to talk to Billy or Freddy Meyer, are you one of them?”

“oh. I’m Freddy. What do you want with me and my Father?”
