It was a normal day in the Hospital, Doctors were strolling along about their business while patients were waiting for their turn.
As Simon strode into the Hospital there was the usual smattering of greetings
“Hey Simon” Said Damein, the Nurse on duty. Simon had known Damien when he was 15 and Damien wasn’t the most studious, so he was naturally surprised to find him as a Nurse at the Riverview Hospital.
“Good Morning Dr. Millsim!” The giftshop girl, Corella McCloud said and then blushed, Simon smiled internally, He knew that she had had a crush on him, ever since she started
Most people were very nice to him, While a select few, well, weren’t
“Hi Doctor Idiot, hope your having a nice day” Shirley said, implying the usual hate
“This is really getting old Shirley, how long has it been since you were nice to me? and please tell me why you hate me again?”
“My sister could do so much better than a low-life like you”
“Oh please Shirley, we’ve been married 9 years, I thought that you’d get over it by now”
“Shut up and give me my patient”
“will do!”
Always after an argument with Shirley, Simon would have to check on his long-time patient, Sarah.
“Hi Dr. Millsim!” Sarah said as he walked in the room
“I have good news! today is the day of your operation Sarah! you get to go home tomorrow!”
“oh. Thats good. I’ll miss you guys around here though”
After a few minutes of mindless banter the stretcher arrived to take Sarah to the operation room.
“Is this going to hurt Dr. Millsim?”
“not one bit Sarah.”
Simon delivered Sarah to the OR and then realised that he had some free time.
“Look what the dog brought in!” Shirley cackled
“SHUT UP SHIRLEY!” Simon could talk as bad as he wanted, seeing as they were both on break
“Come on guys….” Damien said, trying to smooth things over for the 50th time
“Relax Damien, I’m just getting some cofee!”
“She is really getting on my nerves…What are you working on, Damien?”
“I’m just filling in some papers, but I think that you and Dr. Lin should just ignore eachother for a while, maybe then it will—”
beep beep
“Oh, It looks like my shift is done!”
I know the past couple of Posts have been short, but I’m just trying to Introduce you to a couple of new characters you’ll see pop in and out between posts
